    NEW WORDS! Empty NEW WORDS!

Post by andrea Sun Feb 01, 2015 8:11 pm

Ducki has added to his vocabulary!  In addition to variations on 'Ducki' 'Hi Ducki' 'DUCKI DUCKI DUCKI DUCKI' and 'Kiss me!', my favoritest little birdie bugger now says a nice, mumbly 'I love you'

    I love you

Of course, only when I'm around...the only words he breaks out for others are the Ducki variations. Very Happy

It's amazing how they can pick up new words and phrases at any age. I've been trying to get Jassie to say Want Supper?? and now she says Supper, supper, supper...QUAKER....Supper, supper, supper...Quaker. Quaker supper? Quaker supper? and it goes on for about 15 minutes.

Laughing QUAKER supper. I love it! She wants to make sure you know which bird to give supper to. You do have lots - gotta be specific.

I have to start documenting every word and phrase she says. I love listening to them talk and I answer them too

I talk to Duck all the time, even when he's just quacking away or not saying anything at all. He doesn't seem to mind.
