My son hurt himself Empty My son hurt himself

Post by Carol Mon Jul 16, 2012 2:27 pm

There is never a boring moment in my life. These past few days have been very emotional for me.
Early yesterday morning I received a call from the hospital. The doctor informed me that my son had cut himself very badly and severed an artery and a vein. The surgery went well thank heavens and they were able to repair the damage. But all I kept saying is You could have bled out and died.
He was very drunk at the time and said he blacked out and found himself staggering up down town Preston then stumbled through a store front window. I think that's when he came to his senses because when he pulled his arm back out of the open glass it sliced him very deep. Luckily the patio bar across the street was still open they saw him holding his arm with blood running and called 911. They released him yesterday and he's now home. Hopefully this will be a wake up call for him

He's so lucky to still have full function in his right hand. Thanks for the well wishes
