Just to let everyone know, I have cute birdy photos on my phone that I need to upload to the laptop. At present, I'm trying to hook up digital cable with DVR in two rooms of the house, and cable Internet service, so I'm a little bit teched-out. Hopefully by the end of the weekend! Callie's horniness is . . . still there at this time of year, but not as bad. It takes a while for her to start panting now. Plus, I've placed a large, rock-filled pitcher in the corner of her cage that she considers her nest. It prevents her from getting in there and doing the chicken-scratching thing.

And yes -- Cricket LOVES the hair! He sits up there preening it and re-arranging it, lol!

 Silly Cricket! Though at least I now know there are others who understand why I don't use hair products. Telling someone you don't use hairspray because your parrot will eat it gets lots of funny looks.

I'm sorry - I had to laugh. Poor guy is quite scraggly, isn't he? But still truckin'! How old is he now?

To be fair, that's his bad side -- with the wing that got completely de-feathered.    He was 23 in November!
