    Scholarship! Empty Scholarship!

    I just got notice that I received the FQRNT (Quebec government) scholarship for doctoral studies! It's 20K$ a year. Basically, it replaces the stipend that my boss has to pay me, so not much changes financially for me, but the boss is extra happy. And I get to stick it on my CV! And I don't have to teach undergrads anymore, I get to focus only on research (which might mean I get my degree earlier).

    BOOGIE!

    PS: Ducki doesn't know yet, but I'm sure he'll be super-excited when he hears the good news! Cool

    Paws are WAY up!

    I also found out that the Chem department gives me a 5000$ bonus for the first year (on top of the 20K$ scholarship) AND my tuition gets paid for me. BOOGIE!
