What Callie inspired --

So our country's elections are over, the results of which prove once again that the United States has the stupidest people in the world.  BUT -- locally, my guy won!!  The Assemblyman got to meet Callie one day, as I brought her with me to his campaign headquarters while I did phone banking for him.  Next thing we knew, this commercial showed up on TV:

I'd like to think that my girl inspired this stroke of genius!

I can't figure out how I missed this post. that was so funny and I'm sure Callie had a lot to do with it.

One of the reasons I like Al -- every election season he tries to throw a little humor into the campaign.

It's nice to see a political ad that actually states the candidates platform instead of just trashing the opposition. Of course, the Callie bird would definitely help him win my vote

True on both counts! I don't know how much he paid for the avian actor(s), but I guess he told his staff that it probably would've been cheaper to use Callie! Only problem is, it would've taken ten times as long to get the right shots with her acting up.
