Sharing an old pic

I've been working on some old pics the make them where you can see them better and I wanted to share this one with you. You can just make out the
parrot on the gate with the yellow on his head but I love the one on my head. These were taken when I lived in Venezuela. Hope you enjoy it.

oooo looks like Jimmy birds

Neat pic! Was it a family vacation?

Andrea no we lived there for 6 years, my dad worked in the oil industry and we were transfered there when I was about 6. It was great growing up there and of course you can see where I got my love for birds. My mom had quite a few including a b&g. Here's a pic of my mom with some of
her birds. She raised them all from babies.

Carol they do look like Jimmy birds, I'm not sure what kind of amazons they are, I know we brought my aunt and grandfather a double yellow head.

Your mommy has beautiful birdie babies! Were they trained for free flight?

They would be orange wings for sure.

Andera I'm not sure if they were free flight or not, she might have kept their wings clipped. I do know that the macaws would sit
in the fence during the day. They all did have nice cages outside. Since the weather there is tropical year round they all stayed
outdoors.

Chris are you asking what the health care is like in Venezuela? Hmmmm not sure but I have a feeling it's not to good with Chavez as their
president. He is a tyrant. But I can say one thing the weather is nice, no snow, no hurricanes since they start from there
When I was in school we wore shorts and sandals. The weather was pretty much the same all year long, but wait till they can get rid of Chavez before
you move there. If you do let me know I'll hook you up with some nice places to live there..

Actually, since seeing the movie "Rio" I now want to live in Rio! LOL -- I'm soooo fickle, huh?
