Re: Jabba and Daisy
Is this something new where they are trying to get closer to each other?
Daisy does not really look impressed

Re: Jabba and Daisy
I'm trying. It's me that has kept them apart really. I never let them work it out themselves. They are spending lots more time together. There cages are in separate rooms, but they play together downstairs. Well, they play...not together...downstairs.

Re: Jabba and Daisy
They play "near" each other not with each other.

Re: Jabba and Daisy
I guess that's like me I kept Jimmy and Pete apart and then by accident I found out they were fine together.
They do play together now but only when Jimmy is in the mood to let Pete play

Re: Jabba and Daisy
I know it is me that has been keeping them apart. They don't even show real aggression when they are together. They seem to take turns being the boss, and one usually just walks/flies away.
But I have started trick training them, and they learn faster together. When one doesn't figure it out, the other one shows them the right way. I'm just starting, but they are really liking it a lot.
Video to come soon!!!

What tricks are you working on? I'm looking for new ideas...Ducki knows 'spin' and 'wave'

Re: Jabba and Daisy
We just started. I have a thin stick that I use and Jabba learned to touch the end of it on command. Sounds dumb but I can get him to walk from one place to another to get to that stick.
He waves and is learning to say Hi at the same time.
And he "blows out the candles". He is really just mimicking me blowing a bit of fluff off of him, but I converted it to a trick and got him to do it on commanded.

Re: Jabba and Daisy
Ducki doesn't vocalize on cue, but he has a new phrase! He says 'I love you'
