A couple more boarder birds

This is Jericho who is a Severe Macaw boarding at Mark's for a few days.


And my Sweetie Chiko who hates it when I have to leave and put her back. She actually lays on her back when I put her in the cage and grabs my fingers really tight

Are you going to abduct Chiko?

I wish, I feel sorry for all 4 of those birds.
Chiko - grey
Malenki - Umbrella Cockattoo
Jackson - Green wing macaw
Max - Blue and Gold macaw
All been at Mark's since November 2010 and the papers have been ready now for a few months. They now say the birds must be quarantined somewhere that there are no birds for a period of 4 months before they will release them to Costa Rica...this is Canada for you.

We were out at Exotic Wings a few weekends ago, and my daughter Nicole (10) was very upset to see Malenki still there. She thought no one wanted her since she had seen her on a prior visit too. She was crying and carrying on, that she wanted to take her home to live with us.

So you aren't the only one feeling bad for those birds.

I just made them all some toys that I will probably take to them tomorrow so tell your daughter I will make sure they stay busy
