Little Henry the Quaker got a bad start in life but his buddy the Sun conure saved his life by teaching him how to eat.
They are best friend and owner's tell me they rarely get too far away from one another.
Both are amazing birds I love you

Does Henry have a beak deformation, or is that the camera angle? They make a cute couple, though. Giggle

Henry was born with a broken beak(Mark tried to repair with no luck) and it needs to be trimmed out at the sides about every other month because it overgrows at the sides. He was handfed a long time because he didn't know how to scoop up his food but the little sun conure actually taught him how to eat. Henry is now 4 years old and is a very healthy little quaker despite the malformed beak. A little ruffled in the picture from the towel holding but he's a trooper and seems to now know the procedure.

It is! When Trixie (mom's tiel) was sick, Pinkie (the crippled lovebird) scooted up next to her to keep her warm. Not too impressive if they liked each other, but their usual interaction is 'hiss and lunge'. It's like they know when the other needs support.

Birds are the best. When one of my Lovies lost its mate my Crimson Belly Conure would come out of her cage and
hang around his for twenty minutes just to keep him company. Once he got a new mate, Gracie stopped hanging around
him. Guess she new he had a mate and didn't need her support anymore. Smile
