I'm sure he misses testing all your yummy food! And isn't he such a model? Changing the pose just a little bit to give the camera person the best choice of angles. Very subtle

He's like Pete. All I have to say is pose and he holds his position until he hears the camera click

Actually, with my old point-and-shoot he would panic and flutter away. The huge SLR, though, is apparently fine. Sometimes I have no idea what's going through their little heads

Well, I do have some bird language figured out:
Head curled down: Either 'Rub me!" or "Hahaha I'm going to bite you!"
Snuggling: Either "Oh you're so warm and soft and I love you!" or "I'm am going to burrow bodily and painfully through your arm/lap, call for a mate, and then try to rape your big toe!"
Bouncebouncebounce: "Whatever you have, I want it. And if I don't like it, you'd better have something good nearby anyway"
Wave: "I want some!"
Squat: "bomb's away!"
ee-EEya: "Phil sneezed"
