New Addition

Okay, so I know she's not a bird, but Peter and I have added a new 3-legged girl to the family!
We have no clue of her lineage, and also don't know what happened to cause her to have 3 legs, but the general suspicion is that she was hit by a car.
I am happy to announce our new 2 year old mutt: Tripod [a.k.a. Sylvia's "little" sister]

What a Doll. Love the name. Is her middle name Tippy by any chance.

We got her from our local Animal Control. She really doesn't know she's down a leg. Her name (at least at AC) was Trinity...we only renamed her today.
Peter's actually been doing research and thinks he knows what she's a mixture of: some part dachshund, some part Carolina-dog/American dingo. We know her last home had set rules, as she didn't jump on the couch until we called her up on it, and she also didn't beg when we were eating dinner. She follows us everywhere (and is great on the stairs), and when we're all on the couch she's right there in between us, making sure she's touching both of us.
We find ourselves lucky to have her; we were told that typically 3-legged dogs are adopted really quickly from shelters.

She's also very lucky to have both of you too.
