All clean!

I've been on vacation all week (my Mom was visiting!) and today I finally got around to giving the Duck mansion a deep clean (including hauling it outside for an encounter with the hose).

Of course, Ducki was less than impressed with his temporary lodgings (yes, the doors are tied shut. Two guesses why):



Even though I put some of his favorite toys in, he still did his 'I'm a poor jailbird' impression



Then I wheeled in his super-shiny, uber clean mansion. He wasted no time making sure I hadn't harmed it.



And demonstrating why I call it his 'mansion' - he looks so small!

After 'decorating' the cage, it was deemed habitable.



And all was good in the world of Duck.

Yeah, he doesn't spend much time in the spare cage, but after I caught him sneaking out one of the food doors I had to tie them all shut. *sigh*

Clean yesterday.......not so clean today right
Such is life with bird/birds
Somehow it just doesn't matter how messy they are we cannot help but
love the little stinkers in spite of ourselves.

Actually, it's the weekend so Duck hasn't been in his cage very much. But although the cage is clean, my family room floor is another matter

Yeah for super clean Duck Mansion. I spend my Sunday's cleaning 4 and Monday the remaining 3 every week. This week will include the extra cage where Chiku has been living.

You pressure wash every week ?

How long do your get to keep Chiku? Has Benny fallen hopelessly in love yet?

NO not every week. I use a steamer in between.

I brought Chiku back today.

I did take Chiku back to the store yesterday but somehow she ended up coming home with me again
