Oh my goodness! I need those for Callie!! One of each (don't need anything to say shut up, Mike tho). I've been trying to find clothing to dress her in to keep her from chewing her feathers!! Where do I get those? Did you make those, Catherine?? Can you make some for Callie????

Hey Chris: The diapers are made locally here in Sudbury and she makes an outfit for pluckers.
You can find her at Jungle Wear bird diapers and flight suits on line. Her name is Debbie.
The Hoodie I ordered through Healthy Bird and they are in New Brunswick. The hoodies come
from Avian Wear in the USA.
Andrea: The "shut up Mike" is an inside family joke with my friends brother-in-law and his name
is Mike and he loves Dino and wants me to teach him to say it. I have opted to have it on a diaper for
when we are all together.

I ordered Callie's hoodie today!

We can actually get those too but don't stock them because they mess up their feathers.

Argghhh!!!! Callie's big, fat head doesn't fit into the umbrella cockatoo-sized hoodie! I don't think this is the same company Catherine used, because it's out of somewhere in Virginia, but they're VERY nice! I called today and explained that I must have a big girl. They're sending me a "jumbo" size one along with an envelope to return the "x-tra large" one in. I'm going to start calling her "Fatso!"

I can relate to your frustration. When I ordered the diaper in mammoth size for Dino was too small for him but
the hoodie in mammoth fit no problem. The good thing is you can send back the one that doesn't fit. My friend Deb who has owns Jungle Wear is going to make Hoodies as well. Check out her website and see what you think.

I will do that, Catherine. I think I searched "avian wear" and the Avian Fashions site was the one on top. Everything was so cute, I couldn't help myself! But, I will check out your friend's site, too. A stylish 'too can never have too many hoodies, after all, right?

I think we better be careful Chris or we may be creating Fashion Divas Deb has just started with the
hoodies. I think, actually she has made one for Dino. I will send Carol a picture later and you can see what
it looks like for comparison. If you like it, I will ask Deb if there a way to measure one for Callie and I will see
what Deb can come up with for you.

The problem will be the measuring part! I don't know how Callie would feel about me putting a tape measure around her. I do remember now that the vet did mention she was a bit "hefty." But, I thought he meant she was fat. Maybe he thought she was, but it's her head and bone structure that's big. She's bigger than Pete, and he's a male. So the disclaimer, "fits most umbrella cockatoos" I guess doesn't work for her! I'll have to remember to go up a size -- like me with my bazoombas fitting into shirts.
