Funny story -- my friend from Boston was in town this weekend and we went to the local hangout Sunday for beer and pizza. It was also the day that Santa made his rounds on the fire engine throughout the village. Well, we're sitting there talking, and who comes in the door but Santa himself! He bellies up to the bar and the next thing I know, he pounding back a bottle of beer -- and there are families there! So, when Mike got back from getting another drink, I said, "Gee, isn't it kind of a bad idea for 'Santa' to chugging beer when there are kids around?" He tells me that "Santa" swears like a trucker. When he went up to order his drink, the guy was saying, "I had to ride around all day in that f***ing truck and my a** is killing me! Next year I need to remember a pillow!" Mike looked at the guy next to him who shrugged and said, "I guess Santa needs a drink."

LOL, Chris!! Merry Christmas to all. I ended up being Santa and Mrs. Claus (with the cooking) this year, so I'd love a drink.

Never got ours up, either! No lights, nothing! It's just been one thing after another around here. My friend said that our house looked like the Jewish house on the street.
