Meet my newest member to my flock

Meet Georgie. The boys helped pick the name which is perfect. Could be a boy or a girl.
First a little history. Georgie was born Feb. 17th which was my Dad's birthday and somehow has head trauma from a fall maybe. I've been watching him closely since he first went into a cage and his/her head is always bent back or to the side. I fell in love at first sight and even though I said NO MORE BIRDS!!!! here I am again taking on another one. This one is special needs but with all the signs I really want him/her. Georgie is still being hand fed but will come home when weaned.

No not yet, right now all the kids visiting Exotic Wings are enjoying the cuddly little Georgie.

Georgie is doing amazing. He/She just weened at 10 weeks and probably coming home the end of the week. I think I'll call her a she for now so I don't have to keep typing he/she She already knows the step up command and is perching on the highest perch in the cage. So I'm not as worried about her now.
Every time I start thinking maybe I am making a mistake I go to her cage and even when she's cuddled up with all the other babies in the cage she comes right to me. It's very heart warming. This will be my first baby. All my birds have been rescues or rehomes.
I just LOVE her.

I can only hope that you and Georgie have the kind of relationship that I have with
Seymor.It is unconditional and whole hearted for both of us and even with his issues,
I would not want to have missed out on this big birdie love from a little lovie.
