Re: Digit in protective mode
Georgie is finally settling in so he's playing with his toys now and not just sitting there at the front of his cage all day. But he's so clumsy He hangs off his chain and boom he is on the floor. I have him in a temporary cage for now borrowed from Digit it's her stay at Dad's place cage. When I figure out how much space he'll need I will get him his own. Right now he's cuddles into my neck

Cuddles!
Is he off balance because he's a baby or because of his fall/tilted head? I wonder if it might be good to get him a wide cage like had, with a padded bottom?
Then again if Mom's Pinkie is any indication, lovebirds are ridiculously adaptable. Even though he can't move his feet from the knee(?) down, the only modifications Pink needs are a nest to sleep in and a whole hand for step-up (instead of a finger).

I'm thinking wide and not high. I will watch his progress and decide if it's the handicap or just baby clumsy and go from there. Otherwise he's the sweetest little baby I've ever met

Hey, I recognize that posture! Sylvia does that a lot...she really won't let me take many pictures of her anymore...
