I only took my camera and if I do video it kills the batteries.
Next time I'll take the video camera
They went on for about an hour with lots of HI's and lots of peek-a-boo's and some conversation that I think only they understood but both were laughing so I'm sure they were talking about us

Sometimes
When I visit or other friends of Mark's we tend to get the adult birds out more than the babies because they require the most attention. It also helps with the transition of going to a new home. This way they stay social and less work for the new owners.

hehe I do the same when I visit pet stores - Usually the staff is pretty nice about letting the birds out and they will supervise for a few minutes before they realize that I plan on scritching for a while. Once satisfied that I am not upsetting the bird, they let me keep them out as long as I want (usually until Phil drags me out of the store). Even better, they often thank me for socializing the birds

Yes, I used to have to be dragged out of the store too. We don't have anywhere too near that still sells birds now.
