Well, our day is finally here. Done with the fundraising. Done with the endless phone bank calling and old ladies telling me to go to Hell before slamming the phone down in my ear. Done with the printing, mailing, hiking, and smiling. Our one lone candidate is now going up against the rabid wolves that make up the other party in this area. I've done all I can do, now I wait. BUT -- I now have free time again!

Mmmmmm! I'll be right up there! Actually, as soon as Callie's fully recovered, I could use a vacation. She gets her stitches out in a week. She's still a little lethargic, so I'm weaning her off the pain meds. I think it could be the plummeting hormone levels. I'm sure she'll be fine.
