Full-on Duck spoiling! Empty Full-on Duck spoiling!

I just got off the phone - Ducki has an appointment with the vet tomorrow evening. DON'T WORRY - nothings wrong.

He is getting the full spa treatment: wingacure and pedicure
as well as his annual check up (because you know he loves to be palpitated and have his butt examined! Razz )
and finally, he's getting the bloodwork done that is neccessary if he ever wants to board at the vet. I'm a bit nervous, but if something happens and both Phil and I have to leave for a few days, at least I'll have the option of boarding him there. Of course, if we are planning a vacation he won't be staying there, he'll either go to Grandma's or maybe Auntie Carol's Wink

He did well! Weight was a constant 70g (last year it was 70g, the year before...70g...). The vet declared him 'well-muscled' which I take as meaning he is a Buff Duck. But she scared the poo out of me when she took Duck to the back room for blood tests. It seemed to take FOREVER. Everytime the door opened I was sticking my head into the hall to see if Duck was coming back. Little did I know that she did his wings and nails at the same time, which i Anyway, he was declared s what took longer. *sigh*

Regardless, he was apparently 'very brave' (vet's opinion). Yesterday I reveived the blood test results...HE PASSED! Negative for both PBFD and psittacosis! Which also means that he's now eligible to board with them, which is nice if we ever have an emergency.
