    Silly Billy Empty Silly Billy

Post by Carol Fri Apr 29, 2011 9:48 pm

Yesterday morning I was doing my normal routine.
Fed birds, cleaned cages and was in the middle of vacuuming when I heard a thud.
I turned around and made my quick check on where all birds are and did not see Billy.
I'm yelling BILLY where are you???? Nothing....BILLY??
Looked under cages...nothing and Billy was completely quiet so I'm thinking the worst.
Just about to start panicking that maybe I sucked her up in the vacuum and didn't notice her when she jumped out of the garbage container...
The garbage had been emptied so nothing in it she ended up in the bottom.
She was probably thinking (Now how do I get out of here???)
If she had just made a noise I would have found her faster
She sure made a lot of noise of excitement when she surfaced though. Giggle

It happens here too and they come strolling out from under the cage as if nothing happened meanwhile I`m freaking out.
Bronco thinks it`s great fun to scare the cats by falling, he hasn`t mastered landing, off the cages landing close enough to
    bite! Laughing
Xev likes to walk across the hall to the bathroom. If I heard more than a flutter of wings or that thud it would help.

Well, let me tell you -- Freddy lands with a "flump" all the time, and it doesn't matter. By the time I hear it and run over to his cage, he's already wandered off and I have to search for him anyway! Laughing
