Chiko and I have a very special bond. He's going to be moving to Costa Rica but for now he's boarding at Mark's and he actually calls me when he hears me come in the store. he's such a sweet grey. I'm going to miss him when he's gone.

and no way he'll talk outside the box either but when I try to put him back in the cage when I'm leaving he does this play dead trick and just flips on his back

That must be a Grey thing lol. My friends Grey Quincy does the same
thing when it is time for her to go back to her cage too.

I guessed they get attention when they do that...which reinforced the behavior. Though I would much prefer a 'flipped bird' than a big bite.
