Mindy's new cage Empty Mindy's new cage

I put her in a cage more suitable for her.  This one seems much better for her getting around with 1/2 inch spacing.  Mind you I don't see much wrong with her now so I'm thinking she has healed well.

That cage looks like lots of fun! The rope climbing gear should be good for strengthening her leg/foot. Is she hand tame?

    More toys added today:thup:
I do not see any problems at all this week with her legs or feet. She is perching on the rope perches fine now and is all over the place.

Yay! Go Mindy! Now the big question: does that mean she's heading back to Mark's?

It's up to me I guess. I think she would get more attention with someone else. I have 1 person in mind but he is not sure yet. He's asking his wife first.

We need a new word for 'birdie nurse'. How about 'burse'? Or 'nirdie'? Laughing

    cartoon funny Yep that's me
Well decision is made I had a choice in bring another injured linnie home but I think Mindy is so happy in her cage I don't want to move her unless I find someone that wants to buy the cage and toys in it I think she's here to stay. The other one was hurt by a parrotlet. It was still being handfed but was in a cage with other little birds and for some reason the little parrotlet took a liking to his leg band. I had him sold to a family but they were afraid because he can't grip very well that it wasn't a good fit for a home with little kids. I think his leg was broken. The band had to be cut off because of swelling and the wound heal great but his foot is facing out poor little guy. I think though we can find him a good home. He is special needs and I can show the pics of Mindy's cage and make suggestions.
