When it needs to be done, the task kind of hovers over my head and is the 'dreaded task'. But I feel so good when I finish! And this week it was an interior decorating week (when I swap out and move around all the perches and toys) so I felt super-awesome. So awesome, that I took a picture. Find the Ducki!

Re: Clean cage day!
I agree about the pretty tail - even the vet said he has beautiful colors
As for the curtains - we have two windows like the one in the photo, and we had white curtains on them (that I had made from a set of curtains Mr Phil had at his apartment). But I thought that the room needed more color, and Phil was nice enough to go along with my experimentation. Besides, it's harder to see the flung bird food on the turquoise

Re: Clean cage day!
Cage update - I came home today and he had saved up all his poo so that he wouldn't mess his pretty white cage lining. You should have seen him run for the door to make his 'deposit' outside the cage

He can certainly be full of character (ahem) at times. Love the curtains, they do jazz up the room. Now Ducki can really enjoy his blueberries and other fruit!without stressing you.

I always keep a bag of frozen ones for Billy.
Is great for keeping blood sugar levels down for lorikeets.
They seem to love sweet stuff
