"God didn't make little green apples . . . "

The local grocery stores have been carrying bags of these miniature apples.  They're just Callie-sized, and she loves them!

I came across a bag of extra-mini baby carrots and picked them up for Duckman. They fit perfectly in his feet! He holds them and then whittles them down to itty bitty sticks

I start them for her because she has trouble breaking through the skin (unbelievable with that beak, I know!). The cute thing is that she drops it when she's had enough, but then picks it back up and finishes it when I come in and start eating an apple of my own. None of my fids current or past have been into carrots. We've tried every shape and texture imaginable, cooked and raw. I have to add extra vitamin A to Callie's food otherwise she gets low. The boys have all been pretty healthy, though. They eat their pellets like good little monsters!   

I have 2 that love carrots, Mindy and Frankie. And shape, size, cooked or raw. Billy loves sweet potatoes but the rest think its poison
