Yes Jardy is actually very sweet he/she just hates to step up for some reason...I just scoop up with my arm

wowshe really does, eh? Can you pick her up like you do with Billy when
playing 'chess'? Ducki actually seems to find that comforting when he's
been spooked into a room he doesn't recognize. I guess having the
'full hug' of Andrea-scented hands is reassuring

I just kinda scoop with the arm avoiding hands touching and Jardy accepts that with no problem at all.
Sometimes it's hard to know with babies if it's just a phobia or if something scared them. In time Jardy will be fine he/she will sit in my hand now but it has to be on Jardy's terms
